Callum Riley Callum is an organist and a founding member of the Melbourne-based instrumental funk and soul quartet Karate Boogaloo. Together with Henry Jenkins (bass), Hudson Whitlock (drums) and Darvid Thor (guitar), he has developed a distinctive sound inspired by classic instrumental funk and soul, particularly the music of Booker T. & the M.G.’s and The Meters. The band is known for its tight grooves, collaborative songwriting and raw, vintage recording style. Callum also contributes to the band’s visual artwork.
