Martin Schack Martin (*1987) is a freelance pianist and organist. He performs in different constellations of bands. From bands performing his own original music, to neobop and mainstream jazz on Hammond B-3. Martin has an extensive career and touring business in Denmark and abroad with his own bands and as a sideman.   Martin is currently residing in Ribe in Western Jutland, and he is teaching at Vestjysk Musikkonservatorium in Esbjerg. In February he has been playing many gigs in København, with the Danish Radio Bigband, with Jacob Fischer and Schackmates. Martin is often touring in Japan, China and Denmark. The new band SCHACK MATES has also frequently been performing around Denmark in 2008/2009, and was present at the LOVE LA FONTAINE concert.   He is also the owner of the venue "Termansens", as well as the creator of the Ribe jazz festival.
