Howard Beaumont
Howard was born in Halifax/Yorkshire 1948. His parents were not musical, but paid for him to have music lessons, first on piano then classical organ. Working as a salesman in a music and record shop, he started selling Hammond organs and developed a love for the jazz organ styles of Jimmy Smith and Alan Haven (http://www.alanhaven.com). Howard went on the road first with a Lowrey Heritage and later Hammonds.

He has always been connected to organ manufacturers as a demonstrator, first Baldwin, then Wurlitzer through to Eminent and Kawai plus the later Hammond organs and Yamaha. He also plays theatre pipe organs in the UK and Netherlands.

Howard still loves jazz and released a CD in 2004 on which he presents jazzy tunes on the new Hammond B-3. He broadcasts on BBC radio's "The organist entertains" and plays summer seasons at the Spa complex in Scarborough.
