Sam Barsh
Called a "songwriter extraordinaire" by Okay Player, and a man who "knows in his bones how to put a song together" by Vents Magazine, Barsh has amassed a discography of over 40 albums as a writer/producer.
 
Barsh's work has received 3 GRAMMY Awards and 5 GRAMMY nominations, including the 2016 Award for Best Rap Album and nomination for Album of the Year for Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp a Butterfly." He was the recipient of a 2015 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Award and a 2015 BMI London Pop Award, and a nominee for the Ashford and Simpson Songwriter Award at the 2014 Soul Train Awards.
 
Described as "phenomenally talented" by Jazz Times and a "Pianist with a gift for groove" by the New York Times, Barsh's professional career launched during his years on the road as a keyboardist for artists such as Avishai Cohen, The Brand New Heavies and Cassandra Wilson, and has evolved to include substantial contributions in a variety of genres. He has headlined international festivals and released a number of albums with his solo jazz project and the electronic pop duo Palter Ego, whose material has been heavily licensed in television and commercials.
 
Barsh appears on over 65 albums, and has performed with a wide range of artists, including: Babyface, Bobby McFerrin, Boyz II Men, Branford Marsalis, Bruno Mars, Cassandra Wilson, Common, David Foster, Debbie Friedman, Emily King, Estelle, Fred Wesley, Gene Simmons, Gregory Porter, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Kiran Ahluwalia, Large Professor, Lonnie Plaxico, Mark Ballas, Mino Cinelu, Natasha Bedingfield, Quadron, Ravi Coltrane, Rez Abbasi, Robin Eubanks, Roy Hargrove, Stevie Wonder, The Brand New Heavies, and Tom Jones.
