Linda Dachtyl
Linda, the leader of "LDB3", is a performer, composer, and music instructor at Kenyon College. Her playing experience includes jazz, rock, classical, and musical theater. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance and Music Education from Capital University and a Master of Arts in Percussion Pedagogy from The Ohio State University. Some of the organizations she has performed with as a keyboardist or percussionist include: the Opera Columbus Orchestra, Welsh Hills Orchestra, Pro Musica, Columbus Light Opera, Central Ohio Symphony Orchestra (COSO), the Rick Brunetto Big Band, the Vaughn Wiester's Famous Jazz Orchestra, Jazz2Go, and the rock groups Pearl Alley, Quixotics, Taylor Station, and The Mimi Rousseau Band. In addition to "LDB3" she leads "QED" a jazz piano trio, "Logarhythm", an original progressive symphonic rock project, and is the drummer for "Moxie" and "The Walt James Band". She is also the staff composer for "Amish Heartland Productions" providing original music for their various industrials.
