James (* in Salem, VA), currently residing in southern France, is a Hammond organ player. Over the years he has shared the stage with some great performers such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Taj Mahal, Bobby Rush, Magic Dick (of the J. Geils Band) Tommy Castro, Ana Popovic, Los Lobos, Los Lonely Boys, Blue Note Recording artist Rodney Jones, Wayne Krantz (of Steely Dan), Janiva Magness, Blues Travelers, John Popper and many others.
