Dan Wall
Dan (* 1954 in Atlanta) played as a child guitar, before he began to take lessons in piano. End of the 1960s, he discovered the organ. Dan studied at the Berklee College of Musiv, and moved then to New York.

In the 1970s and 1980s, Dan gained a wider recognition as a sideman of artists such as Steve Grossman, Eddie Gomez, Jeremy Steig, Karl Ratzer, Joe Chambers, Dakota Staton, Jackie Paris and Sheila Jordan. End of the 1980s, he moved back to Atlanta, where he worked together with Eddie Harris, Charlie Rouse, Lee Konitz and Al Cohn. Since 1991, Dan played Hammond organ for the John Abercrombie Trio. The Hammond B-3 organ has been his favourite instrument all the time. Dan has been very much influenced by Larry Young.

Since 2001, Dan is Associate Professor of Jazz Piano at the Oberlin College (Ohio).
