You can't fix David on a style. It seems he masters them all.
Melodies, derived from Christian songs, accompanied by a swinging
bass and jazzy harmonies are followed by modal eruptions which use
the full power of the organ. Some minutes later, David guides us
into the world of meditation: Very low voices produce celestial
sounds which seem to float over the wide sea. And again a melody,
this time "Stella By Starlight". The "grande finale" is a magnificent toccata
based on the tune "Christ ist erstanden" (Christ has risen), improvised by David.
This is a CD you will listen to very often.
