VTHW 01 Valéry Tarondeau, Hammond organ, piano A multi talent is about to present to the jazz world an absolutely new style, in which elements of Eddy Louiss could be discovered. But Valéry loves dreamy, partially elegiac tunes, all compositions of his own. Some of them remind French chansons, also in the way the artist interpretes them. He plays the organ, the piano and "other instruments" (as the CD cover reveals) at the same time, acompanies himself on organ or piano while playing solos on piano or organ (not to forget the "other instruments", one of them seems to be an accordeon). Valéry, stylistically, offers a wide range from jazz to - let us say - world music which is pleasant to listen to. |
