千野秀一
(Chino Shuichi)
Chino is a keyboard player born in Tokyo. In the 1970s, he started with the group Downtown Boogiewoogie Band, but turned to free jazz in the 1980s; he played with Akira Sakata. In the same period, he joined several groups such as Wa-Ha-Ha, Changgo 5, A-Musik, Ground Zero, Buffles, Next Point, Inochinoimai, and the Fuchigami to Funato Quartet. He collaborated also with theaters and movies. In the 2000s, he came back to free improvisations.
