Review
A phenomenon at the organ: Andreas dominates this complex instrument supremely. Rhythms, melodies, harmonies and solo voices are well tuned to the choice of stops which gives the characteristic sound of the organ. The artist uses the pipe organ like a swinging instrument. Blues figures, bass lines, jazzy harmonies and an adequate rhythm figure a bouquet of sounding flowers, dancing in the air. That is perfect. Böttcher's Blue Pipes are one of the best pipes ever heard.
