David Braham
David has specialized in Hammond B-3 organ and has played with such jazz notables as singers Etta Jones
and Irene Reid, saxophonists Houston Person and Lou Donaldson, and guitarist Bob DeVos. He is also a
dedicated music instructor who has been teaching in New Jersey public schools since the late 1980s.
Currently, David leads a quartet featuring DeVos, singer Lady CiCi and drummer Wayne Dunton Friday at the South Brunswick Jazz Cafe in Monmouth Junction. He also appears Saturday with clarinetist David Aaron at Johnny's on the Green in Short Hills. David, who has a degree in music education from Pennsylvania State University, has also taught at George Washington Carver Elementary School in Newark and Central School in Orange. |
