Nick Milo
Nick started playing the piano in earnest at age four by learning "Alley Cat" and "The Pink Panther". He has been a fan of Henry Mancini ever since. He started composing at age ten, influenced by McCoy Tyner and Frédéric Chopin, Chick Corea and Lizst Ferenc, Herbie Hancock and Johann Sebastian Bach.
 
Nick graduated in Music Composition at the University of Illinois, Bachelor of Fine Arts, cum laude, minor in Ethnomusicology. He worked with the Martha Graham and Jose Limon Dance Companies and had an original score commissioned by the Mary Anthony Dance Company in New York. He was on staff at San Francisco State University, 1980-88 as accompanist and composer for the dance department under Nontsizi Cayou who established the first accredited Afro-Haitian dance curriculum.
 
He worked for and toured with Greg Adams, The Tower of Power, Maria Muldaur, Bonnie Hayes, and Joe Cocker.
