Julius Rodriguez
Julius (*1998 in White Plains) is a pianist, keyboardist, drummer, and plays
also other instruments. Julius, who is of Haitian descent, received classical
piano lessons at an early age. Through his parents he came into contact with
jazz and soul. At the age of 12 he enrolled at the Manhattan School of Music.
At the age of 14 he began working as a musician. Then he studied at the Juilliard School.
Julius was a member of Isaiah Barr's Onyx Collective; with this band he accompanied A$AP Rocky on a tour in 2018. He has also worked as a sideman with musicians such as Wynton Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, James Morrison, Keyon Harrold, Ben Williams, Jazzmeia Horn, Devonté Hynes, Macy Gray, Veronica Swift, Gabriel Garzón-Montano, Nick Hakim and Meshell Ndegeocello. After a few digital singles, he released his "multifaceted" debut album Let Sound Tell All.
