Who won't think of flamenco or Julio Iglesias when speaking of Spanish music?
Mauri, a young Spanish jazz organist, one of the very rare ones, teaches us
that there is a jazz world beyond those clichés, worth listen to.
With a masterly mixture of groove, rock, dance floor and funk, Mauri and his
band create clouds of rhythmic sound, full of boosting basses, rocking
guitars and roaring B-3 waves. All songs (except just one) are composed
by Mauri himself.
This CD is a new experience of the Spanish jazz world which makes people
sit up and take notice.
